4 carry-ons 4 backpacks 4 weeks

Well...this is a first.  We are all taking carry on sized suitcases and one backpack each....that's it.  Even I'm a little stunned that we're doing this.  But after seeing Leela pack everything she needed in a 20" suitcase, I'm pretty sure we will be fine. Our trans-atlantic flight allows for us all to have up to 23kg each so why the small luggage?  Our itinerary within India includes 6 internal flights on small jets which only allow for a maximum of 15kg each.  So, we really can't stuff too much anyways.  Don't worry folks...I'll be buying another suitcase on the way back for all the shopping (John need not worry himself about these things). The most important items; anti-diarrhea medication, gravol, after bite, Deet 30% or more, wet ones anti-bacterial wipes, wipes, water tablets/water filtration mug, sunscreen, anti-histamines and asthma medication.  It may sound like over kill...but just remember I'm travelling with the worlds greatest

I tinerary Specially Designed For  ‘Mrs. Monica Gupta & Her Family’  ‘Temples & Neighborhoods’  This tour platter is beautifully set with the crown jewel attractions of North India. There is spirituality and there is romance in the tour. We also step off the tourist track to observe and experience a living museum where life and conditions as well as human spirits remain frozen in time.... Trinetra Tours. The itinerary will look like a bus tour on steroids....but each day has been carefully planned for maximum enjoyment.  Trinetra Tours helped design everything in this itinerary. They booked the hotels, transportation, all the drivers.  We spent about a month emailing back and forth making sure I had all the 'family visits' incorporated into each city visit.   Once the itinerary was worked out we were able to choose hotels based on comfort 3star to 5star.  Nothing was booked without a 'Tripadvisor' review check.   Day 1 Arrive in Delhi.  M

YYZ to DEL

Buying tickets to India for a family of four from Toronto to Delhi took me a few weeks to do.  Normally I would go online and book tickets via Expedia.ca or directly through an airline.  However, I wanted to take advantage of the 'stopovers' enroute and maximize our vacation so I booked through a travel agent at Flight Centre. Airlines that fly to Delhi from Toronto: Air Canada Air India Jet Airways KLM Etihad Lufthansa The airline you choose will depend on where you want a stopover.  For example; Air Canada/Air India/British Airways stopover in London, UK.  Jet Airways/KLM in Amsterdam, Lufthansa in Munich, Etihad in Abu Dhabi.  There are many options.  Working directly with a travel agent is the best way to get exactly what you want. We are going  Air Canada Toronto to London  Jet Airways London to Delhi Jet Airways Mumbai to Amsterdam Jet Airways Amsterdam to Toronto Notice that I chose a different departure city from India on the way
We are going to India this summer!  Follow me and my family as we travel to Delhi, Jammu, Jaipur, Agra, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Varanasi and Mumbai.  It's a crazy itinerary planned by me and a wonderful agent in India Trinetra Tours.
